You might also enjoy my cartoons.

1.    Gary Cheevers.  Gary was the goalie on those great Bruins teams of the late 60s.  He was a great “money “ goalie.

2.    Felipe, Matty and Jesus Alou.  All had lengthy MLB careers.

3.    Bob Johnson.  As it turned out, the Bengals did well to start by laying the foundation for their offensive line.

4.    Don Nottingham.  Don had what you would call a low center of gravity.

5.    Lou Holtz.  Lou was a case that  typifies the difference between having success at the college and pro levels.

6.    Bobby Douglas.  Though Bobby was an excellent runner he was a threat to pass at any time.  Of course that threat was to his fellow Bears.  After his football career was over, Bobby pitched in AA ball but was doomed by a lack of control, which came as no surprise to those of us who saw him throw a football.

7.    Walt Garrison.  Not big or fast, but tough,

8.    Vic Hatfield, Jean Ratelle and Rod Gilbert.  Lots of skill and finesse.

9.    Ralph Drollinger.  By the time he was with the Mavericks his knees were gone.

10. Roger Brown.  Roger and Alex may be most remembered for the way they harassed Bart Star on Thanksgiving day of 1962.
