1. Rick Vaive. Rick eventually went
on to he Buffalo Sabers and had three decent seasons there.
2. Jim Merritt. After his 20 win
season in 1970, Jim won only seven more games.
3. Roy Green. Roy had three seasons
of 1000+ receiving yards in the 70s.
4. Sam Cunningham. Sam scored 49 TDs
in his Patriots career.
5. Richard Dotson. In 10 seasons
with the White Sox Richard finished at 97-95 with an ERA of 4.02.
6. Greg Ballard. In addition to
being a consistent player, Greg was durable. Six times Greg played
all 82 games of the season.
7. Mel Turpin. Mel had a couple of
decent seasons with the Cavs but it was downhill after that.
8. Ron Perranoski. Ron had a
particularly good season with the Dodgers in 1963, going 16-3 with an
ERA of 1.67 in 129 innings.
9. Otis Nixon. In 17 seasons, Otis
did steal 620 bases.
10. Larry Stallings. Though not
spectacular, Larry was a steady force in the Cardinals for over a
decade.
