1. The “Human Eraser” began his
pro career with the Denver Nuggets of the ABA, but spent most of his
time in the NBA with the Knicks. Shot blocking was a big component
of his game.

Before quarterbacking the Falcons for 11 seasons, this man played
his college ball at California. He was named to the Pro Bowl in 1979
and 1980.

This speedy receiver out of Fresno State began his NFL career with
the LA Rams in 1983. He was named to the Pro Bowl and All Pro teams
in 1984 and 1988.

This defensive back out of Oklahoma played corner and safety for the
Falcons for 11 seasons, starting in 1984. He was named to the Pro
Bowl in 1988, when he led the NFL with 10 interceptions.

From 1964-76 this speedy shortstop was at the top of the Kansas
City/ Oakland A’s lineup.
6.
A vastly underrated starting pitcher, this righty toiled for the
White Sox from 1961-71. He finished his time with the White Sox with
a record of 113-113 and an ERA of 3.11.

Between 1969-78, this well traveled defenseman was a six time all
star. He played for the Canadians, Seals, Bruins, Rangers and
Devils. He had three seasons of 20+ goals scored.
8.
A solid starter for the Red Sox during the 60s, this man won 20
games for the team in 1963. He was later traded to the Tigers.
9.
After going to college at UNLV this high scoring guard began his NBA
career with the Bulls. While in Chicago he was a two-time all star.
His 13 year NBA career was spent mostly with the Bulls and Kings.
10.
This starting pitcher was traded from the Giants to the Cubs along
with Randy Hundley. He won 20 games for the 1969 Cubs. In all, he
spent seven seasons in Chicago and was generally very effective.

Marvin Webster. Marvin's
best season was in 1977-78 when he averaged 14 points and two blocks
per game.

Steve Bartkowski. Steve led the NFL in TD passes with 31 in 1980.

Henry Ellard. In addition to his big play capability as a WR, Henry
was also an excellent punt returner early in his career. He took
four punts back for TDs in the first three seasons of his career.

Scott Case. After his time with the Falcons, Scott finished his
career with the Cowboys and was on a Super Bowl winner with them.

Bert Campaneris. Bert led
the AL in steals six times. In 13 seasons with the A’s, Campy put
up a WAR of 49.0.

Joel Horlen. Joel led the
AL in ERA with a mark of 2.06 in 1967, but had an even lower ERA of
1.88 in 1964.

Carol Vadnais. Along the
way Carol was on a couple of Stanley Cup winners. All in all, a very
nice career.

Bill Monbouquette. Bill
led the AL in losses in 1965 when he went 10-18, but his ERA was a
respectable 3.70.

Reggie Theus. I was
surprised to see Reggie averaged 8.1 assists during his time with the
Kings.
10.
Bill Hands. When Bill won
20 games in 1969, he also had 18 complete games.
