1. This left-handed hitting first
baseman was with the Twins from 1964-73. His best season was 1969
when he hit .322 with 16 home runs.

in the majors in 1962 and he finished up after the 1977 season.

Even though this place kicker played for several teams, he is most
know for his time with the Redskins. He handled their kicking chores
from 1974-86. He was actually the NFL’s MVP for the strike
shortened 1982 season.

Though not a big strikeout guy, this man had a lot of success for
the Pirates from 1987-92, going 92-62 with an ERA of 3.02. He then
signed as a free agent with the Astros.

1. Rich Reese. Though he was often a
defensive replacement while with the Twins, he did have a few decent
seasons with the stick.
2. Tom Candiotti. Tom was at his
best during his time with the Indians, going 73-66 with an ERA of
3.73 during his seven years there.
3. John Bagley. At 6’0” John was
undersized, but as you would expect, very quick.
4. Ron McDole. Ron was part of some
excellent Buffalo Bills defensive lines during the 60s.
5. Joe Ferguson. Joe went 77-86
during his 12 seasons as a Bills starter. He did lead the NFL with
25 TD passes in 1975 with 25. After his time in Buffalo, Joe went on
to the Detroit Lions.
6. Elmore Smith. During the 1973-74
season, Smith led the NBA in shot blocks with 4.9 blocks per game.
He also contributed 12.5 ppg.
7. Nick Fotiu. In eight seasons with
the Rangers Nick scored 41 goals. Goal scoring wasn’t the key to
Nick’s popularity.
8. Cookie Rojas. In 16 seasons in
the majors, Cookie put together an OPS of .643 and a WAR of 9.2. Did
I mention he was versatile?
10. Doug Drabek. After his success
with the Pirates Doug went 38-42 with the Astros with an ERA of 4.00
