1. Benoit Benjamin. Benoit was like
Joe Barry Carroll, only not as productive, though he was a good shot
blocker.
2. Joe DeLamielleure. Joe was also
named to the All Pro team three times during the 70s.
3. Chris Hanburger. Chris
intercepted 19 passes and recovered 17 fumbles during his career.
4. Willie Upshaw. He also had decent
seasons in 1982 and 1984.
5. Jim Gilliam. Jim had a
surprisingly high career WAR of 40.9. Jim had speed and an ability
to get on base which helped offset a lack of power.
6. Harry Carson. Harry was one of a
number of great linebackers the Giants had in the 70s.

useful player on a championship tam because of his willingness to
adapt his game.
8. Brian Sutter. Brian was probably
the best of the Sutter brothers. He was a three time all star.
9. Dave Henderson. Dave is probably
most famous for his 2 out, two strike homer in the ninth inning of
Game 5 of the 1986 ALCS off Donnie Moore.
10. Ken Holtzman. Ken pitched two
no hitters with the Cubs and won 77 games for the A’s from 1972-75.
