1. Jimmie Hall. Jimmy was a two time
all star in Minnesota, but fell off a cliff after he was traded to
the Angels. He later bounced around with a number of teams.
2. Mark Bravaro. In six seasons with
the Giants Mark caught 266 passes good for 3,722 yards and 28 TDs.
He later played for the Browns and Eagles.
3. Happy Hairston. Based on the
quality of the team Hariston was probably Happiest with the Lakers.
4. Syl Apps. Syl’s best season was
the 1975-76 season which saw him score 32 goals and pick up 67
assists for 99 points.
5. Gene Alley. From 1965-68 Gene’s
WARs were 4.4, 5.3, 4.8 and 5.2.
6. Bob Berry. Bob was actually named
to the Pro Bowl in 1969.
7. Terry Cummings. Terry was the NBA
Rookie of the Year for the 1982-82 season. Cummings had seven seasons
of averaging more than 20 ppg. He also scored more than 20 ppg for
three teams, the Clippers, Bucks and Spurs.
8. Kirby Puckett. Kirby was a great
player and was just a lot of fun to watch.
9. Paul Warfield. For 13 seasons in
the NFL, Warfield averaged 20.1 yards per catch. He was also part of
the Dolphins perfect season.
10.Willie McGee. During Willie’s
MVP season of 1985, his WAR was 8.2. The second highest WAR of his
career was 4.5 in 1990.
