1. Carl Morton. From 1970-75 Carl
won 83 games for the Expos and Braves.
2. Charles Oakley. Oak was strong on
the boards. He was named to the all star team for the 1993-94
season. That year he averaged 11.8 points and 11.8 rebounds per
game.
3. Ellis Valentine. Ellis showed
great potential but his career flamed out at an early age.
4. Murray Oliver. The Bruins traded
Murray to the Maple Leafs who later traded him to the North Stars.
His career high in goals was 27 which he achieved during the 1971-72
season.
5. Howard Twilley. Howard’s career
high in catches was 39 in 1968.
6. Carl Lockhart. Spider picked off
41 passes and recovered 16 fumbles in his 11 seasons in New York.
7. Gil Hodges. Gil was a great
Dodger, but didn’t do much as a Mets player. He did have more
success as the Mets manager.
8. Greg Swindell. In all, Greg
pitcher for six teams and finished with a career record of 123-122
with an ERA of 3.86.
9. Chuck Muncie. In 1981 Chuck
rushed for 19 TDs and had a total of 1506 yards from scrimmage.
10. Vinny Johnson. Though he’s
known for his work as a member of the Pistons, he began his NBA
career with the Sonics. The Pistons send Greg Kelser to Seattle in
exchange for Vinny.
